Welcome to Myerhoff & Associates’ tenant and landlord information site. Your tenancy is greatly valued, we are here to help. Please read through the maintenance descriptions and always submit your requests with a detailed description or photo through Appfolio for the fastest service. For non-urgent requests, we will respond to you within 24 hrs. 

Your health and safety, and quiet enjoyment of the premises where you reside is our utmost priority, so please read our Maintenance and Emergency Protocol for important information and report all maintenance issues immediately.

All maintenance requests should be submitted in writing either to the property manager at the above email, or through your tenant portal. Most non-urgent repairs will be handled within a week, however you should get a response to your written request within 24 hrs. We get to repairs more quickly whenever possible, please let us know if you have a specific need or concern. 

MAINTENANCE EMERGENCIES
If you smell gas call PG&E immediately 800-743-5000 For pilot lights you can call us or PG&E.
For other maintenance emergencies, you may call our handyman Tony, Nick or Laura, contact info above. Every gas-using appliance has an emergency gas shut-off valve at the gas line connection point. Please make sure you know where this valve is located. In addition to calling us or PG&E, if you smell gas turn this valve off and open a window.
PLUMBING, TOILETS and ROOF LEAKS
If you have a water leak and can see water overflowing or pooling from the toilet or sink, call Our Emergency Number or the emergency phone # below immediately. Every toilet and faucet and water-using appliance has a water shut-off valve. Please make sure you know how to locate this valve inside the base of most vanities, or at the base of the toilet and in the back of washing machines.

TURN OFF THE WATER VALVE IF YOU SEE A LEAK and keep the area dry.

Overflowing toilet or clogged sink. Each bathtub/shower should have a hair trap to prevent hair clogs. If you do not have a hair trap please let us know and we will supply one.
Snaking drains costs between $75-$180. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW HAIR TO CLOG YOUR SHOWER/TUB and only flush toilet paper. Do not flush feminine products or any other items down the toilet.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS ARE INSTALLED AND FUNCTIONING. PLEASE CHECK THEM TODAY.

Lockouts are your responsibility. We try to help whenever possible, but there is almost always a charge for lockouts. We suggest you give a key to a friend or neighbor just in case, or you can usually pick one up from our office. Payment for lockouts is due at the time of service.
