Generally speaking, tenants are responsible for their own light bulbs, batteries and blinds.
The policy states that Myerhoff & Associates will replace a broken set of blinds without charge 1 time within the 1st year of tenancy. Following that replacement, the tenant is responsible for all future damages. The replacement blinds are white, faux 2-inch wood blinds. To claim your 1-time free-of-charge replacement blinds, simply submit a maintenance request through Appfolio.
Upon written request will have our handyman install any window coverings that you purchase. If you have special requirements for custom or different window coverings, please purchase them yourself and our handyman will install them for you at no cost up to 2 hours of labor.
When you move out, window coverings should be returned in the same condition as when you moved in. Normal wear and tear is acceptable.
