All buildings now have compost bins, recycling bins, and trash cans. Please make sure to follow these rules:

Recycling

– mixed recycling, rinse glass and plastic containers, paper, flattened boxes, NO PLASTIC BAGS

BREAK DOWN ALL BOXES make them flat and put in recycling bin if they are small. For larger or multiple boxes, flatten and stack them neatly inside 2’x4’ boxes and place them outside on the curb with the cans on trash day. Be courteous, do not fill the entire recycle bin with your boxes. Stack them neatly next to the bin.

Visit Alameda County’s Online Guide for Reuse, Repair, and Recycling for more information on compost, recycling, and trash guidelines.

Please contact myerhoffassociates@gmail.com to schedule a bulky item pickup day for your building. Do not leave large items by the trash area. It is your responsibility to dispose properly of your trash during move-in/move-out. Waste Management needs 2-3 weeks notice to schedule a bulky pickup.
